About me
After founding AMP Sound Systems and turning it into one of the largest and most respected supplier of audio services in Ireland, I found my love for musicals. Now I entirely specialise in live sound for musical theatre, while my fantastic staff continue to run AMP Sound. This means that my customers are delighted to have the peace of mind that the best equipment in the business is in use, which is maintained and set up by professional crew – with the added bonus of a friendly and competent engineer who uses 100% of his energy and experience to make your show sound the best!
I have had the pleasure of working on some of Ireland’s most prestigious theatrical events over the past few years, along with countless great musical society and school shows. No matter what the show, the feedback from the audience and the production team alike is always the same – “the sound was stunning and Eoin was great to work with”.

My equipment
As the owner of AMP Sound Systems, I have access to the highest quality touring grade PA systems. However, I also stock my own personal set-up of mixing desk and radio mics to use on my musicals.
Mixing Desk
One of very few in Ireland at the moment, the DiGiCo SD9 is one of the best sounding digital desks in the world. It is built with the exact same hardware and software that is run on many of the big West End shows (and the U2 360 tour). As I do roughly 200 shows per year on this desk, I know it like the back of my hand and can quickly and easily deliver outstanding results. The SD9 has an impressively small footprint, which means you can sell more seats than if it’s analogue counterparts were used.
Radio Microphones
I put my trust in Sennheiser radio microphone systems as they are the most reliable and they consistently reproduce accurate sound.
I can supply up to 24 transmitters, with either the outstanding DPA 4066 or Sennheiser MKE2 microphones.
These microphones are the industry standard on high end shows, and now they are available to you at a reasonable price for your production.
Mic Dressers
I have experienced mic dressers on call to ensure your show runs without a hitch. All mic dressers are female and Garda Vetted.
My mic dressers are in radio contact with me in case of any problems, and we constantly monitor the status of the microphones via an advanced computer system. This ensures that potential problems are recognised and rectified before they become serious. It also takes the load off other members of the production team, as they can concentrate fully on the show and not worry about technical sound details.
